Well gang after minor shoulder repair #6 and 2+ months recovery, time to FISH!
We rolled on Condor w/Capt. Scott,2nd Vinny, Scott and Sam on deck and
Christophf cooking great food all trip. With only 17, regulars like Norm & Mark Engle,
Kevin "Hurler" Gross, Jesse, Jesus, Tom,John, Mike and more this was gonna be a
rocker. After a load of nice dines we rolled 70 miles south. Long story short, it was
hit and miss to wide open paddy fishing for limits of yellowtail, 11 Dorado on bait/iron,
and two of us got a football yellowfin tuna 1 on Zucchini Feather, mine on a Purple
Halco. We easily caught over 150+ Yellowtail, releasing most, keeping some bigger
ones for our limit of 5 each. Insane fishing. Finally some wide open fishing south!
TACKLE: We used 25-30lb line most of time, 40-50lb instant bite in wide open.
1-2/0 hooks were best. Trolling: Cedar Plug, Zucchini feather, Halco-Purple

Soon a worn out bunch of cooked winders hit the hot shower and a Christophf salad,
chicken dinner and long night sleep riding back to San Diego. Light load in July
to die for! THANKS to Scott crew, and great folks I fished with! IT ROCKED!!
